Stephen Hawking !

Stephen William Hawking, is an English theoretical physicist and cosmologist, whose scientific career spans over forty years. His books and public appearances have made him an academic celebrity. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts,a lifetime member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, and in 2009 was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States.

Stephen Hawking is severely disabled by a motor neurone disease known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS).
Hawking's illness is markedly different from typical ALS in that his form of ALS would make for the most protracted case ever documented. A survival for more than ten years after diagnosis is uncommon for ALS; the longest documented durations are thirty-two and thirty-nine years and these cases were termed benign because of the lack of the typical progressive course.

I think this man is an example to all people, because he used his intelligence to make important discoveries for the humanity.

In general the left and right hemispheres of your brain process information in different ways. We tend to process information using our dominant side. However, the learning and thinking process is enhanced when both side of the brain participate in a balanced manner. This means strengthening your less dominate hemisphere of the brain. Listed below are information processing styles that are characteristically used by your right or left brain hemisphere.

More 4 The Brain! (:

The Brain have three main parts: the cerebrum (left and right hemispheres), the cerebellum and the brainstem.

Cerebrum
The cerebrum comprises nearly 90 percent of the brain tissue and is associated with higher function such as thought and action. There are two hemispheres or halves (right and left sides), which are further divided into four sections or lobes. Each lobe of the cortex controls the following:

  • Frontal lobe - movement, speech, intelligence and behavior.

  •

  • Parietal lobe - sensation, artistic and scientific ability

  •

  • Temporal lobe - hearing, language, taste and smell and memory

  •

  • Occipital lobe - vision

  •

    The Brain (:

The brain is the part of the central nervous system located in the skull.
It controls the mental processes and physical actions of a human being.
The brain, along with the spinal cord and network of nerves, controls information flow throughout the body, voluntary actions such as walking, reading, and talking, and involuntary reactions such as breathing and digestion.
